I received my bachelor's
and master's degrees from Texas Woman's University. I graduated in 1997 and was licensed by the state of
Texas as a Professional Counselor in 1999.
Gender and sexual identity have always been my main areas of interest,
and working with those issues has led me into working with depression, social anxiety, relationships, self-esteem,
suicidal ideation and eating disorders. Counseling, however, is my second career. In my professional
former life I was an accountant. I am 50 years young and celebrate life on a daily basis.
